The Chicagoland Chapter of the Materials Handling & Management Society (MHMS) brings together material handling practitioners and other members of the greater Chicagoland area material handling community.

Throughout the year, we sponsor a number of special events to help our members keep up-to-date on recent advances in the industry and how local material handling professionals are responding to the challenges they face in today’s competitive business environment.

The Materials Handling And Management Society is dedicated to providing career development and recognition for material handling professionals

This commitment extends to anyone whose responsibilities embrace the planning, design, deployment or operation of equipment and systems that are fundamental to the productive and safe movement, storage, control, and protection of goods through the use of material handling products and practices.

This mission is accomplished through our stakeholders: the members, chapters and our affiliations with related organizations.

The MHMS Chicagoland Chapter is teaming up with the Warehousing Education & Research Council Chicagoland WERCouncil and several other organizations to sponsor a special networking event for supply chain officials. The event is scheduled for 5-9 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25, at Dave & Buster's Restaurant in Addison, IL.

Joining members of WERC and MHMS Chicagoland will be joined by members of: The Chicago Chapter of APICS - The Association for Operations Management;the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP); the International Warehouse Logistics Association (IWLA); and the Institute for Supply Management of Chicago.
