More than 100 golfers teed it up at MHMS Chicagoland's Annual Golf Outing at Old Orchard Country Club in Mount Prospect on Friday, June 24.

Winners of this year's event were from Team Exide -- Jeffery Keipper, Ted Manzano, Jay Gardiner, and Kevin McWilliams -- who burned up the course with a blistering 9 under 61. At the other end of the standings was the high-gross team from The Howard Street Inn: John De Bartolo, Tom Raines, Nick Nichers, and Paul Cefalio, who shot a 8-over 78.

Team and individual awards were presented at the awards banquet which followed the golf. In addition to the golf honorees, Don Wheeler was named the Chapter's Man of the Year.

Winners of the individual contests were the following:

• Steve Gucwa (3rd hole)
• John Plantamura (7th hole)

Once again, nobody was able to ace the 11th hole, so the $500 prize went unclaimed and will go toward our annual scholarship fund.
