The Old Orchard Country Club in Mount Prospect was the site of the latest MHMS Annual Golf Outing on Friday, June 25. Some 96 golfers teed it up in great weather and celebrated afterward with an awards banquet.

This year's course proved a little tougher. Nonetheless, the winners of the best ball event -- the team of Bill Stark, Tim Connolly, Chuck Dainko, and Tom Schneider -- still managed to shoot a 7 under 63. At the other end of the spectrum was the high-gross team from the Howard Street Inn consisting of John, Paul, Ron and Tom.

Winners of the individual contests were the following:

• Tom Schneider (6th hole)
• John Sturm (13th hole)

• Eric Hoehn (3rd hole)
• Jeff Pedula (7th hole)

As probably could be expected, nobody was able to ace the 11th hole, so that $500 prize went unclaimed.

Special thanks go out to the many players as well as those who contributed as hole sponsors. Funds raised from this year's outing will go enable the Chicagoland Chapter to present another year's of educational and networking opportunities and to provide a scholarship to a deserving student.
