Chicagoland Chapter of the Materials Handling &
Management Society (MHMS) brings
together material handling practitioners and other members
of the greater Chicagoland area material handling community.
Throughout the year, we sponsor a number of special
events to help our members keep up-to-date on recent
advances in the industry and how local material handling
professionals are responding to the challenges they
face in today’s competitive business environment.

ProMat 2009 Set
for Jan. 12-15 |
|
| |
Join
tens of thousands of your fellow supply chain colleagues
at ProMat 2009, the major annual exhibition sponsored
by the Material Handling Industry of America. The
exhibition is scheduled for Jan. 12-15. 2009 at McCormick
Place South in Chicago. The show will feature supply
chain manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, assembly,

Members
Tour
United Scrap Metal Facility |
The
latest facility tour sponsored by the MHMS Chicagoland
Chapter was another resounding success as a number of
members visited the United Scrap Metal scrap processing
operation in Cicero, IL. In addition to representatives
from equipment manufacturers and distributors, attendees
included consultants in material handing, logistics,
and operations management.
Next
up for MHMS member is a January 14 tour of the Vernon
Hills facility of American Hotel Register, a manufacturer
and supplier of hospitality products and services. More
information will be posted on this site and emailed
to MHMS members when it becomes available. |
